SUPERFLEX STUDIO

Transformation of a former transformer station into a characterful and flexible artistic workspace. Existing materials and elements were reused to create a design that supports both creativity and functionality. Large industrial steel windows were inserted into the solid concrete façade facing Nyborggade to bring natural light into the shared workspaces. In the artists’ newly established kitchen, additional openings were cut into the facade to allow light in. Much of the raw original interior was preserved and subtly refined to meet contemporary needs.
